We are seeking a Junior-Mid-level WordPress Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the development of WordPress projects, working closely with our internal team of designers, project managers, and the development team to deliver user-friendly and effective designs. You will need to have a strong understanding of WordPress development principles and a willingness to learn and take direction.

Responsibilities:

• Support the development of WordPress projects
• Write reusable, testable, secure, and efficient PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, MySQL, and AJAX code
• Optimize the performance of applications using industry standards
• Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes.
• Coordinating the workflow between the UI/UX Designer, the QA, and yourself
• Strong understanding of WordPress custom post types, custom taxonomies, and custom meta boxes
• Experience with OOP, Namespaces, Traits, and Design Patterns

Requirements:

• Professional experience with plugin development teams or have more than one plugin approved at wordpress.org/CodeCanyon
• Strong knowledge of PHP and WordPress development
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of JavaScript
• Fluent in English (speaking and writing)
• Proficient with relational (SQL) and non-relational database platforms
• Strong problem-solving capabilities
